About the school

We are recruiting for a KS2 teacher on behalf of a large Salford primary school. Due to the popularity and excellent reputation of this school, it has grown over the years due to increasing demand from the local community. This 'Good' graded school has a real community feel where pupils are well behaved and enjoy coming to school every day. The Headteacher of this school likes to get stuck in and is extremely approachable along with other members of the SLT.

The Headteacher believes that lifelong learning starts with a good experience at school. The staff are dedicated to giving children positive learning experiences that promote learning.
The staff at this Salford school believe that parents play a significant role in supporting their children's development and that they have a role in supporting parents and are at the centre of our community, working together for a brighter future.
This is a two-form entry primary school situated in the Swinton area of Salford. Children are welcomed into the nursery in September after their third birthday and remain with at this school until they are eleven. There are currently sixty places in each year group with two teachers. This school is also fortunate in having a dedicated support staff team including learning support assistants, learning mentors and a parent support officer.
The school is based just outside of Salford centre with excellent public transport links and ample parking available.



About the role
This Salford school are looking to meet with a Year 5 Teacher who can deliver innovative lessons within upper Key Stage Two. The school have adopted a child led approach to teaching and learning in recent years and actively promote growth mindset. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support the KS2 team.

Ideal candidates will have strong upper Key Stage Two knowledge and will ensure that lessons challenge all learners whilst being both innovative and engaging.
