We are currently recruiting for a large Liverpool secondary school who require a General Cover Teacher for an immediate start until July 2024. This position is a temporary full-time role with the potential to become permanent.
The role is:-
Full time, Monday - Friday
8.15am - 4pm
5 days a week.
£153.85 a day, Term time only
Temporary - with the potential to become permanent.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising classes of secondary school students and ensuring a safe and orderly learning environment
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and managing students' behaviour
- Assisting with the administration of tests and assessments
- Communicating with teachers and other staff members as needed
To be considered for this General Teacher role you must:
- Be a qualified Teacher / hold QTS
- Be a strong classroom manager
- Have the ability to deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively.
- Have a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
The successful applicant will need:-
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
- 2 professional references
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
- Legal right to work in the UK
