ADHD Specialist - Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child diagnosed with ADHD in a mainstream Primary school. This opportunity will see you supporting a student in Year 6 in their crucial final year of primary education.

Hours: 8:30AM - 3:30PM

Start date 06/05/2024. Lasting up until the end of the academic year

Salary: A daily salary of £85.00 - 90.00 per day

If you are:

Familiar with a school setting

Confident in managing challenging behaviour

Experienced with SEND, particularly ADHD

A practitioner who is committed to promoting inclusion by providing differentiated work to challenge students of all abilities, INCLUDING those with ADHD and ASC

To be successful in the role of ADHD Support Teaching Assistant, you will:

A caring and nurturing attitude

Have a thorough understanding of supporting pupils with SEND

Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

Have the legal right to work in the UK.
