Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint a proactive, efficient, motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Administrator/PA to the Headteacher at a Primary School in North Birmingham.
On a day to day basis, you will be working as part of a very busy administrative team and must be able to undertake all manner of duties to ensure that the office runs smoothly and that you are a supportive member of the team. As part of this role, you will be expected to greet parents, pupils, staff and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner.
You will be responsible for the production and electronic sending of all correspondence, as directed by the Headteacher. This will include general school letters, curriculum booklets, the calendar, behaviour letters, trips and events, clubs and music etc. This requires that you have an excellent standard of both written and verbal communication. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the admissions and leavers procedures for the school, checking all relevant documentation is in place, along with FSM and PP entitlement and status, keeping the MIS accurate and up-to date and liaising with BCC to ensure that all children are accounted for. You will also be responsible for the organisation of our extra-curricular after school clubs, ensuring that they are set up in a timely manner, consents are received from parents and payments are made. Along with this, you will manage the day to day running of Children's University.
This is a broad and varied role and as such, the successful candidate must be hard working, methodical, and able to meet deadlines whilst being faced with distractions and conflicting demands.
The successful candidate will be reliable, approachable, well organised and able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and provide an efficient high-quality service, whilst remaining calm under pressure.
