Our client is a small one form entry school with a family orientated feel seeking a playworker to support their pupils in their new afterschool club provision.

You would be required to support primary children from the hours of 1pm to 6pm with various activities such as reading, games, crafts, sports etc. You may also be required to prepare some of the children a light snack.
Enthusiasm and a dynamic attitude are a must for this job role as well as having a good grasp on behaviour management.

This role is to start ASAP and will be for at least until the end of the academic year. Autumn term. Hours are 1:00PM to 6:00pm. Salary expectation approx. £10-12ph.

The school is really accessible with a bus stop very local and regular buses, Hemel Hempstead station is a 10 min walk and the school has an on-site car park

The essentials:
*Cache Level 3 or equivalent
*Experience supporting children in a caring environment
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
