An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher to join a thriving and successful client to teach Art & Design. This role is a maternity post to start immediately and will be offered on a minimum one year contract.

This post would suit an NQT or a more experienced Art & Design teacher. The Arts are important to this client and they offer a range of subjects, including, Art, 3D Design, Textiles and Photography which generates real energy in the department. You will be joining a strong team of subject specialists, with highly energetic and inspirational leaders to support you.
If successfully you will be joining high-performing department with experience colleagues whose role is to support you through the next stages of your professional development. You will report to the Head of Department and would be responsible to provide the full learning experience and support the students. You will also promote the general progress and well-being of individual students and of the Form Tutor Group as a whole. You will liaise with a Pastoral Leader to ensure the implementation of the school's Pastoral System. Students are overwhelmingly well-behaved and are a credit to them. They expect and require high standards of behaviour from students at all times.

You would be involved in the school's staff development programme by participating in arrangements for further training and professional development. You will be offered continue personal development in the relevant areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods. The school will ensure the effective/efficient deployment of classroom support.
