Our Teaching Agency are working exclusively with a Special Needs Pupil Referral Unit based in the borough of Merton that are seeking an Art Teacher to teach Year 7-11 Art.

The School is a Year 7-11 Pupil Referral Unit that caters for secondary aged pupils who are permanently excluded, on respite from their home schools, Year 11 pupils without a school place and new arrivals into the borough. It caters for both boys and girls.

Most students have had difficulties in mainstream settings and will have been excluded or have been referred for a period of respite, assessment and/or behavioural support and other types of intervention. After assessment, some students may require an Education, Health and Care Plan. Many pupils have Social and Emotional difficulties and some have associated learning difficulties which are wide ranging in terms of severity.

We are seeking a Secondary Art Teacher who:
* Are qualified from Australia or New Zealand
* Taught Year 7-11 Art
* Can adapt to new situations quickly and have the ability to think on your feet
* Has an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young
