Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an Art Teacher to join a successful, medium sized secondary school from September. The role is initially to cover maternity and will be for the Autumn term at least. Following a successful assignment and depending on the school requirements, the role could be extended or made permanent.

This welcoming school, who have enjoyed consistent success over the years, are keen to promote all aspects of the Art and Design curriculum. They are very proud of their well-resourced Art department and the subject remains popular with students at GCSE. The leadership team and other staff members will offer the successful candidate great support. The Ofsted rated 'Good' in all areas school, have good behaviour and pupils who are eager to learn.

Students are well behaved and thoroughly enjoy their Art lessons. With great resources, students can be imaginative and demonstrate their creative flair. Pupils participate well across the school and are eager to please.

The successful Art Teacher will be:
Confident with the planning and delivery of engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
A committed and reliable teacher dedicated to the role
Consistently motivated to deliver challenging lessons ensuring pupils can progress at all levels
An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills
A positive and personable role model for their class

Need to hold QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK

The school is easily accessible from Suffolk and Eastern Essex with plenty of parking on site for staff.
