Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding Art teacher for a very popular school in Bromley. The role is to start in September 2019.

This large Secondary School based in the borough of Bromley are looking to recruit either an experienced or Newly Qualified Art (NQT) from September 2019. The school always strive to ensure that every child receives the support and guidance they need to reach their full potential. Through providing appropriate support, they seek to ensure that every student meets the high expectations that the school sets. They offer a rich and increasingly varied curriculum to cater for the wide variety of interests and needs within the school.

The role:

*Teach knowledge and skills in art, including drawing, painting, lettering, and art history
*Provide instruction by which students develop aesthetic concepts and appreciations and the ability to make qualitative judgments about art
*Demonstrate techniques in activities such as drawing and painting
*Understand the versatility of acrylic paints: dry brushing, staining, layering, underpainting, monoprinting
*Knows and can apply elements of design and modern principles of art
*Knows the fundamentals and different approaches to drawing media technique
