COVID-19 notice: We're continuing to recruit education staff throughout these unprecedented times, as we can still get you registered and cleared ready for when schools re-open. Instead of face-to-face meetings, all interviews will be via phone and we can guide you through submitting your documents online.
Can you ignite a passion for Picasso and Rembrandt? Do your lessons encourage even the most reluctant learner to pick up a paintbrush? Are you an exceptional Art Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Then contact us today because Tradewind are recruiting an Art Teacher for North Lincolnshire!
We are currently working with a medium sized North Lincolnshire Academy helping them secure an exceptional Art Teacher for the new academic year.
This growing secondary Academy has worked tirelessly to increase attainment and has demonstrated excellent results since their new Headteacher was appointed last year. They have been able to drive results in a way that has engaged staff and students alike and as such, there is low staff turnover and an increase in student intake.
As a full time practitioner, you will be an integral part of the Academy and taking on the full teaching role - including planning and marking, which means you can expect to be paid to scale which is up to a maximum of £185 per day. In return, the school are keen to recruit a practitioner with outstanding subject knowledge and can confidently deliver lessons up to KS4. The standout applicant will have QTS and a degree in an art-based subject.
The school itself is part of a large academy trust who specialise in secondary and primary schools that strive to provide opportunities for those in deprived areas. The school has excellent facilities and up to date technology. Staff relish this as this enables them to deliver exciting lessons using the most cutting-edge resources.
The cohort for the Academy is varied and as such, a practitioner who is skilled in working with all abilities would be well suited to this role. The perfect candidate will have the knowledge and experience to guide students through their examinations and will have demonstrable results in delivering excellent outcomes for all.
This role is expected to last until Christmas 2020 but there is a possibility it will be extended.
Centrally located, the school is accessible by local bus and rail links and there is ample parking onsite as well as secure bike sheds.
