Tradewind are working with a "Good" rated Watford school, seeking an Art teacher to start immediately and continue for the rest of the summer term, with options available for September for the right teacher.

You will be responsible for teaching Art and Graphics to the schools' engaging and diverse student population at Key Stages 3 &4. The department is 10 strong and compromises of both newly qualified and experienced teachers, making for a collaborative and supportive department. The school have a great induction / support programme and are also considering applications for the post to start in September.

Our client has a good reputation in the local community and high staff retention, aided by a strong SLT and teacher-led governing body who are committed to the school's continued improvement. Student progress, attainment and attendance have improved dramatically under this management, who prioritise supporting all teaching staff to continually improve their practice.

We are looking for
*A competent and capable Art, Graphics teacher who can deliver Art to KS 3 & 4 with excellent subject knowledge.
*Driven and enthusiastic the successful teacher must be able to deliver varied and different lessons.
*With the potential for growth, development and promotion within the department and School this is a great opportunity to see a school prior to the resignation date.

You will be responsible for teaching classes in KS 3 & 4 as well as being given pastoral responsibility with a form group. You will be working closely with the HOD to ensure consistency and continuity is delivered across all areas of the department and every pupil makes the required progress.

The school is located in Watford with onsite parking and easy access from the M1, M25 and A405, as well as good public transport links to Watford town centre, St Albans and London.

To join this successful and integral department in September you will need to
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
You will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
