Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a teacher of Art for one of our client schools in the Wigan area. The position is expected to start in September 2020 and will continue for two terms.
The school are looking to appoint an inspirational Art teacher who can teach across Key Stage 3 and 4. The school are open to appointing either an NQT or an experienced teacher. Art as a subject is linked to the Creative Arts department at the school. You'll be joining a supportive environment with 6 members of staff. During Key Stage 3 (Y7-9) the students work on a carousel basis and complete units in Fine Art and Photography. At GCSE the students follow the AQA Art syllabus.
This Ofsted rated Good school is accessible from the A580 and within a 10 minute journey from the M6 motorways. The school is accessible by bus from Wigan and Leigh. *Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification;
*Have experience teaching Art across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4;
*This position is subject to Enhanced DBS, Overseas police check (if applicable) and satisfactory references;
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
*Have the legal right to work in the UK.
