Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dynamic, creative and hardworking Art Teacher to join this Ofsted rated "Good" school in Wigan. The school is well linked and is accessible via the M6 and M58. The position is a temporary, long- term position, from September 2020 until December 2020.

The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and able to inspire students throughout KS3 and 4 and fully embrace the school community. The Art department offers creativity in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, textiles and graphic design. Students are encouraged to develop a sense of enquiry about the visual world they live in. You will join a supportive and committed department, who aim to deliver an engaging curriculum and reward students for good progress with educational trips. Lunch time and after school clubs are also available for the students to further enrich their Art experience. Following the school policy on planning and assessment, you will be expected to plan, deliver and assess students' work

To join us and be successful in this Art Teacher role you will need to:
* Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
* Have experience of teaching Art to KS3 and KS4
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
