Are you a Maths teacher in Kent looking for a step up to a departmental leadership role in September 2020? Are you currently in a leadership role within a Maths faculty but seeking a new challenge? Well, Tradewind have just the role for you!

This is a permanent, full-time post to begin in September 2020 (M/UPS +TLR (£4656)

A successful academy with an excellent record of results at both GCSE and A-Level are looking for a new member of their leadership team in Maths. The Maths department you will be working in is high-performing and well-staffed. They are now looking for a senior member of staff to support the Head of Faculty. Results at GCSE are consistently very good, with A-Level take-up very popular.

At GCSE their results over the last year have been consistently outstanding, particularly in English, Maths, Science and Humanities. They are regularly one of the leading schools for progress in Kent at GCSE and for attainment at A-Level.
The school expects:

*A teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*A relevant BSc/MSc in Mathematics or a related subject
*Proven experience of delivering Mathematics at GCSE and A-Level
*experience of developing and enhancing the curriculum to raise attainment

To be successful in this role you will need to:
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Have excellent knowledge of the Maths curriculum.
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
