About the School - Assistant Head of Music - Ealing, West London

This successful and very well led school is looking for a QTS teacher with a degree in Music to join their busy and successful Music Department. The Senior part of the school has superb musical facilities and all pupils are encouraged to learn a musical instrument. All instruments are taught at this school and some of the most talented students have the opportunity to play in a well respected borough choir. Music is compulsory up to the end of KS3 and is available as an option at GCSE and A Level. The school has regular concerts, open mic events and many public events throughout the year. The school offers excellent CPD for all levels of teachers, with middle and senior leaders contributing regularly to the teaching expertise of other teachers. Access to the school is good by road and rail with staff carparking available.


About the Role - Assistant Head of Music - Ealing, West London

*Develop and deliver the co-curricular music provision across the school
*Manage and supervise peripatetic music teachers
*Demonstrate the use of excellent teaching practice for teaching and learning
*Be able to prove excellence in leading and developing a wide range of musical activities, ensembles, choir and orchestras
*Have the capacity to work effectively with a large and busy Music Department
*Manage and oversee overseas trips to enhance the musical experience of the students
