Must have strong behaviour management - Salary negotiable Assistant Head Teacher required for an SEMH school in Slough * Assistant Head Teacher required to start September 2020. Assistant Head Teacher that wants to make a genuine difference to pupils lives Are you a current Assistant Head Teacher who wants to make a difference and work with pupils that have challenging behaviour? Do you have a passion to better the lives of your pupils both socially and academically.

The Role - Assistant Head Teacher Preferably, you will have previous experience in a similar type of school or in a rather challenging mainstream school. For this assistant head teacher role, you will be required to drive teaching and learning through KS2 and will also be required to teach classes of around 6 students with behavioural difficulties with SEMH.

The classes will be of mixed age groups within primary, therefore the ability levels of the students will vary and so you must be an outstanding teacher that has the ability to tailor your lessons to your students as well as differentiate to keep lessons fun and to ensure students are engaged and participating. This is not only in your classroom but also throughout the school.

The School this SEMH school caters for students that have social emotional and mental health needs and all students that attend the school have an EHCP. You will be joining a small team that is lead by a strong SLT, The school is expanding and is very near public transport.
