About the role - Assistant Principal for Humanities - Southwark, Central London
*The Assistant Principal for Humanities will be accountable for standards and achievement of pupils within the Humanities faculty, involving the line management of Subject Leaders, support and monitoring, and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
*This Assistant Principal for Humanities role will also be responsible for History and Geography at KS3-KS5, RE at KS3 and KS4, and Sociology and Politics at KS5.
*It is essential that the successful candidate for this Assistant Principal for Humanities role has experience of providing professional development to teachers, including coaching, mentoring and training.
*The applicant must be able to demonstrate that they have raised attainment in a challenging context and have previous leadership experience.
*It is essential that that the applicant has QTS.
