Tradewind is working alongside with a secondary school in the borough of Ealing in recruiting for an experienced Attendance officer. Interested applicants must have experience working with SIMS system. This exciting opportunity is available on a full-time basis Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm.

We are looking for:
* Someone with exceptional organizational skills with proficient numeracy, literacy and IT skills
* Someone has experience using SIMS package
* Confident to make home visits to parents
* Administer first aid / supervise during the student lunch break.
* Provide exceptional levels of customer service to pupils, parents and staff.
* A team player

Candidates will be expected to:
* Responsibility for the administration of student attendance within SIMS
* Ensure all registers are completed and no missing marks or unexplained absences remain
* To follow up on staff for missing registers as necessary.
* Responsible for the daily update of systems with reasons for absence, contact home for unknown absences, messaging regarding lateness to school.
* To check the accuracy of registers and, where necessary classes, to ensure absent students are genuinely absent.

* Have or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference check.
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
