Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Are you looking for a full-time/long-term role starting in January?

Tradewind has a fantastic opportunity to work within a fantastic lower school based in Bedford. You will be responsible for supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis with additional needs. You do not necessarily need School based experience; however, you must have supported children with SEN and at a primary age.

***Learning Support Assistant position (Full-time/Long-term)
***Supporting pupils with additional needs (Autism) on a 1:1 basis
***£70 to £80 per day - Post will be for the whole 2020/21 academic year - Starting ASAP
***Interview now and secure a position from January

The School is friendly, has a nurturing ethos and is situated in Flitwick (Bedfordshire). They are looking for a passionate and conscientious LSA who can join their outstanding team. You will be supporting children within a Reception class and work closely with the SENCO/Class Teacher.

Criteria:
*Experience of working with Pupils with SEND (ideally pupils with ASD)
*Degree Qualified or an NVQ L2 Teaching Assistant qualification
*An approachable and resilient attitude
*A passion for supporting children with additional needs
*A willingness to try different approaches to enhance learning
*Strong Numeracy and Literacy skills

*Highly Desirable* If you have completed one or more of the following courses: Makaton, Pecs, team teach and any British Sign Language qualifications. You will be short-listed and contacted immediately!!!
