Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a one-form entry Primary School in Trafford, Sale to start May 2021 and will last until the end of the Summer term and an opportunity for. This is a full-time, long-term role with a salary of £70 per day.

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK

We are recruiting for an Autism Trained Teaching Assistant on behalf of a primary school with easy access to local travel links- Metro link and bus routes. Learning is the schools core purpose, this is championed within a safe school environment where people are helpful, considerate and respectful of each other. Middle leaders are knowledgeable about the schools next steps and support other members of staff well.

This Trafford primary school sits in the heart of community and has approximately 180 pupils on role. About the role

This primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their KS1 department, supporting a child with SEN's. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and a good knowledge of the National Curriculum. You must have prior experience of supporting children with special needs and be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

You will be supporting two children within Year 1 who have Autism, ensuring that they have access to the curriculum. You will be required to support the children throughout class, helping with the delivery of phonics, literacy and numeracy. Successful candidates will have strong behaviour management and a good curriculum knowledge.
