Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an experienced Behaviour Intervention worker looking for work in Sheffield?
We are currently working with a school in Sheffield that is seeking a Behaviour Intervention worker to start as soon as possible. They are looking for a Behaviour Intervention worker to join a dedicated team to help re-engage young people in learning. The salary will range from £14,500-£17,300.
The friendly school is based in North Sheffield. The school is well respected within the community, and they recognise the strong importance in partnership between home and school. The offer a thematic curriculum with themes that change every half-term. Learning is brought to life through trips and visitors to the school.
They are looking for a Behaviour Intervention work who can help develop not only the educational, but also the social and emotional needs of the pupils. They are looking for a highly-motivated and enthusiastic individual who want to make a real difference. You would be working on a small group and 1:1 basis. It is a varied role and you would offer support alongside the mainstream curriculum such as running music sessions or lead sessions outdoors in the forest school. You would assist the classroom teachers in settling down key children after breaks and lunchtime. You would be working with specific groups and individuals who may have EAL, SEN and behavioural needs.
Essential requirements:
Relevant support work experience, enthusiastic and engaging approach, legal right to work in the UK
