Are you Behavioural Manager looking for a new opportunity in an SEMH School in Chorley area?

Tradewind is currently working with an SEMH School in Chorley Ofsted rated 'Good', the school are looking to recruit a creative Behavioural Manager/ Support Worker to work on a full-time, long term basis. This role is to start immediately and continue for the full academic year. This role is temporary with the potential to go permanent.
The School is looking to employ a Behavioural Manager/Support Worker to work with a small group of students across KS3 and KS4, the group of children have a wide range of SEN and behavioural difficulties. This is a full-time position on a long term temporary contract, working 5 days per week.

The successful Behavioural Manager / Support Worker will be required to have previous experience working as a Behaviour Manager you will be required to support staff within the day to day setting, working creatively to ensure that all young people have access to the curriculum. Additionally, you will be required to monitor and report on systems in place in relation to behaviour, attendance and all aspects of student welfare. You will be supporting young people and their families to access help, as needed and develop links with local organisations/companies and lead on work experience programme

Skills and Experience:
*A teaching/ Support Worker or relevant qualification or experience that includes working with children in a SEN setting (ASD and SEMH)

*Knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education legislation and Independent Schools Inspections framework.

*Ability to build strong positive relationships with staff, students, families and external agencies

The SEMH School is in Chorley with excellent access to public transport links and free on-site parking.
