Behaviour Mentor - Secondary School in Islington

Location: Islington, London

Rate: £90 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Type: Full Time, Long Term

We are a renowned education agency representing a leading secondary school in Islington, London, and we are seeking a committed Behaviour Mentor to join our team. Responsibilities:

Implement and uphold the school's behaviour management policies.
Work closely with students to understand and address challenging behaviours.
Provide one-to-one and small group mentorship to encourage positive social and emotional development.
Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to develop tailored behaviour improvement plans.
Contribute to the creation of strategies to enhance the overall school environment.
Maintain accurate records of behaviour incidents and interventions using the school MIS.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students and engage them in the learning process.
A proactive and solution-focused approach to addressing challenging behaviour.
Familiarity with the UK educational system is advantageous.
