An inner city school in Nottingham require a Behaviour Mentor from May 2020 or as soon as the schools re open. The successful candidate needs to be confident with challenging behaviour and experience in a similar role is desirable.

Tradewind Recruitment Nottingham have the opportunity to recruit for a Behaviour Mentor/Teaching Assistant at an inner city school in Nottingham. The role is full time on a long term basis. The role will become permanent for the right person.
The role is working 121 and in small groups with pupils with particularly challenging behaviour and SEMH difficulties. The mentor will follow a bespoke timetable and will build positive relationships with the pupil to promote interaction and a constructive learning environment as well as assisting the class teacher and other education staff with learning activities.


The ideal candidate will be:

* Level 3 qualified
* Experienced supporting school pupils or young people
* Knowledgeable about supporting pupils with SEBD and SEMH
* Available from May 2020 with a DBS on the update service
* Able to commit long term to the school and pupils for continuity
