Tradewind Recruitment are working with an SEN school based in Warrington who are currently looking for classroom based behavioural support.

This school educates children who have special educational needs from KS1 up to KS2.
You will be based within the classroom with up to a maximum of 8 pupils - working alongside a qualified teacher and teaching assistant. Your role will be centred around supporting these young people with their behaviour and conduct in the classroom and communal areas, supporting their emotional and social development.

What we look for:
* Previous experience working with vulnerable children or adults displaying challenging behaviours
* Previous experience working within a school would be advantageous but not essential
* Exposure to challenging behaviours and utilising de-escalation techniques is desirable

Candidates who hold a background working on youth projects or within youth centres would be desirable as would those with a background in mental health.
