Team Teach Behaviour support Assistant
Tradewind are working with a primary school in the Rotherham area requiring an experienced behaviour support assistant from September 2020 on a full time basis.
The successful candidate will be working on a one to one basis with a student moving into Year 5 and will support the student throughout the day in all lessons and at lunch and break times.
The student has Social, emotional and behavioural difficulties so previous experience working with SEMH would be beneficial for this role as would a Team Teach qualification, as deescalation will be an important aspect of managing this pupil's behaviour in a positive way.
An ability to build rapport and a good relationship with the student will be the most crucial aspect of this role.
You will be working closely with the class teacher and the school SENCO to ensure that all aspects of the student's Individual Education Plan is properly implemented.

To join us and be successful in this Behaviour Support Assistant role you will need to:
Hold a Team Teach qualification and have experience working with challenging behaviour.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
