Behaviour Support Worker - Perm

For the right candidate, this school can be flexible on whether this role is part-time or full-time. The hours for this position are 8:30am until 3:30pm, with a daily pay rate between £90-£110. The academy is looking for a candidate to support primary and secondary students on a 1:1 and group basis who have Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour.

Key tasks include mentoring and empowering students, building their confidence and ability to stay focused in order to succeed academically and promote a positive education environment. The school is based in Lambeth and is easily accessible by public transport with clear links on the underground and bus.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold previous experience working within SEN
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
