Position: Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Location: Mainstream Secondary School in Hull

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Until at least Christmas, with potential for extension or permanent placement

Daily Rate: £80-£90 (depending on experience and qualifications)

As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the success of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with behavioural challenges
  • Assisting in the implementation of behaviour management strategies
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Building strong rapport with students to encourage engagement and progress
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to create tailored support plans
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress and behaviour
  • Ensuring a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural difficulties (desired but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications are a plus
