Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a learning mentor or youth worker with experience of working with teenagers? Are you looking for a new full-time role in Worsley, Salford?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a graduate with experience of supporting students with additional behavioural needs to join the alternative provision of a secondary academy in Salford.

This is a full-time temporary secondary behaviour support role paying up to £90 per day.

The Role

Behaviour Mentor within the school's specialist provision

Five days a week 8.00am to 3.30pm

Supporting small groups of students with additional needs including SEMH, ASD, behavioural needs and ADHD.

Working collaboratively with SEN support team and the SENCO

Supporting a broad curriculum based on key skills and ASDAN strategies.

Supporting the senior leader responsible for behaviour.

Working collaboratively with the child's team around the child.

Large academy for students aged 11- 16 in Worsley

Excellent facilities for teaching and learning.

To join us and be successful in this Behaviour Mentor role, you will need:

  • a minimum of six week's experience of working with children aged 11- 16 in the last 3 years supported by references
  • The school is particularly interested in applications from Youth Workers or people with experience of working at Manchester Youth Zone or MAHDLO
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
