Tradewind are looking to appoint a long-term supply teacher for Science with Biology capability up to A level. This would be for January 2021 and on a part-time basis.

You must have first degree or equivalent in the relevant subject. You must have QTS and also with recent and relevant professional development. This role would be to teach across Key Stage 3, 4, 5. You must be able to demonstrate good /outstanding teacher which impacts on students' progress. You will have a broad knowledge of the relevant curriculum areas including sound knowledge of assessment and monitoring. You will also be expected to contribute towards the curriculum development within the department. They are a school who have ongoing training, staff development and well-being are very important to this client.

The curriculum is broad and balanced and there are many extra-curricular opportunities for pupils. The curriculum leaders are ambitious for their pupils. Teachers plan effectively for their pupils. They have good subject knowledge, and they use this to make lessons interesting for their pupils. The behaviour of pupils is good. There is a one-way system for movement around the school. The playground is divided into zones to give quiet areas where pupils can sit and chat. Staff are visible on corridors and in the playground. These arrangements help pupils manage their good behaviour on the corridor and in social areas.

They are set within a mile of the QE Olympic Park and overlooks the green space of the jubilee Park, Waltham Forest.
