For this role, you will be joining a collaborative Science department which is led by a highly-experienced Science specialist who can support all members of staff to an outstanding level of teaching. The school is now seeking a Biology teacher to support the high intake of students pursuing this subject for A level. Results in this school have significantly improved year on year and this opportunity provides dedicated teachers with the opportunity to build upon this success. The Science department is well resourced, with modern laboratories and classrooms. *QTS achieved to teach Secondary Biology
*Clear understanding of the principals of effective teaching and strong behaviour management.
*Ability to plan creatively and confidently differentiate with pupils from all backgrounds
*Understanding of GCSE and A-Level teaching
*Excellent subject knowledge within Science and Biology teaching
*Desire to be developed into an "outstanding" Biology teacher through proactivity and continuous CPD.
