We are looking for a Teaching Assistant that is confident at British Sign Language level 3.

This role is based within a mainstream secondary school with a provision that caters for pupils who are hearing impaired. Initially temporary until Christmas, this role has the opportunity to go permanent from January.

You will be supported by staff and the SEN department in teaching hearing impaired children and those with speech and language difficulties.

The successful applicant will;

* Hold BSL certification or have sign language experience at level 3 as a minimum and have knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum


* Willingly play a part in school life continuing the positive imprint the schools makes in the borough
