Tradewind is recruiting! We are currently looking to recruit Education staff with Care and support work background to work within our new clients in Weston-super-mare. Despite school closures they are open during school holidays and weekends and require Carers who have experience of supporting young people and adults with a variety of Learning difficulties and Physical Disabilities.

These roles might suit you, if you are looking for additional work during school closures in Social Care settings such care homes and residential care units and looking to work more hours. We are looking to recruit care and support staff who have previous work experience within care/alternative education/hospital settings and are available part or full-time.

Our clients are offering excellent training opportunities and as well as working experience outside the Education sector.

These roles might be ideal for you if any of the below apply to you:

-You have previous support/care experience in or outside education settings.
-You have Level 2 in Health and Social Care and/or Working towards Level 3 Health and Social Care.
-You have previously supported or cared for young people with additional needs.
-You have experience/Training in Special Educational Needs or Physical Disabilities.
-You are available part-time asap. (Minimum 1 day a week)
-You have a flexible and conscientious approach and can work when called for last minute bookings
-You own your transport, however not a requirement depending on locations.
-You have certificates/training in Manual Handling, PECS, MAKATON, Epilepsy Training, Medication Administration, Safeguarding, Positive Behaviour Management.
-You must be willing to provide personal care and hygiene.
