Tradewind is recruiting! We are currently looking to recruit Education staff with Care and support work background to work within our new clients in Bristol when schools re-open after the lockdown. Our SEN schools that cater for PMLD and SLD pupils require Carers and support staff who have experience of supporting young people and adults with a variety of Learning difficulties and Physical Disabilities.

These roles might suit you, if you are looking for additional work in special needs schools settings and looking to work more hours when schools open again. These roles are open to support staff who have previous work experience within care/alternative education/hospital settings and are available part or full-time.

Our client schools are offering excellent training opportunities and as well as working experience in the Education sector.

These roles might be ideal for you if any of the below apply to you:

• You have previous support/care experience in or outside education settings.
• You have Level 2 in Health and Social Care and/or Working towards Level 3 Health and Social Care.
• You have previously supported or cared for young people with additional needs.
• You have experience/Training in Special Educational Needs or Physical Disabilities.
• You are available part-time asap. (Minimum 1 day a week) and can work 0830-1530 hours
• You have a flexible and conscientious approach and can work when called for last minute bookings
• You own your transport, however not a requirement depending on locations.
• You have certificates/training in Manual Handling, PECS, MAKATON, Epilepsy Training, Medication Administration, Safeguarding, Positive Behaviour Management.
• You must be willing to provide personal care and hygiene.
