Our small primary school in the picturesque North Chesterfield suburb is seeking a dedicated caretaker to cover a short-term sickness from November 30th onwards.

Position: Part-Time Caretaker Location: North Chesterfield Suburb Primary School Type: Temporary

(Short-Term Cover) Shifts: Split Shift - 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM & 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM

The Role: As a part-time caretaker, your responsibilities will include:

• Morning Shift (7:00 AM - 10:00 AM):

  • Unlocking and preparing the school premises for the day.
  • Conducting safety checks and addressing any immediate concerns.
  • Assisting with minor maintenance tasks.

• Afternoon Shift (3:30 PM - 5:30 PM):

  • Ensuring the security of the premises.
  • Conducting final safety checks.
  • Locking up the school and ensuring it's in proper condition for the next day.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have:

• Prior experience as a caretaker, facilities manager, or building supervisor.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.
• The ability to work independently.
• A friendly and approachable demeanour.
