The School - Caretaker - Barnet, North London:
Located in Barnet with excellent transport links all across London, this mainstream Secondary School is proud of it's beautiful grounds and state-of-the-art facilities. A mixture of modern and ageing buildings, the successful caretaker would be confident in maintaining buildings and grounds alike. The Role - Caretaker - Barnet, North London:
*The successful application will work under the direction of the Caretaker Team Leader and will form part of a team of dedicated, committed caretakers.
*The ideal candidate will have some prior caretaking experience and would be best suited to an individual with an enthusiastic outlook, who enjoys a hands-on approach to solving problems.
*This role would see you working across a 36 hour week in rotating shifts. Some weekend shifts will be required in accordance with the school's needs.
*This position will see you provide security, maintenance and cleaning of the school buildings and grounds and promoting a safe working environment. You will ensure buildings and the site are secure, safe and well presented and act as a designated key-holder.
*Other duties will also include regular maintenance, safety checks, emergency repairs, and supervision of external contractors.
