Required asap - an experienced school caretaker for a junior school in S44 area of Chesterfield. Do you have previous experience of buildings management or a closely related role?
We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual to oversea the maintenance of the school buildings and grounds. The role will include general repairs and gardening as well as ensuring all appliances and all areas of the building are maintained in line with legal requirements including fire safety and Legionella risk assessments.
The school is a large 2 form entry junior school with around 200 pupils, the successful candidate will be expected to open up school at 6.30am and then work until 11.30am. There will then be a break and you will be required back on site at 2.30pm until 5.30pm to close the school up, the role is five days a week through term time although there may be occasionally be necessity to work throughout the school holidays.
The successful person must be able to supply details of two referees as well as holding a clean DBS check before commencing work in schools.
