Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with an established and highly regarded Ofsted 'Good' secondary school and sixth form based in North Leics who are seeking an A-Level Chemistry Teacher. The role is commencing on 24th August 2020 on a full time, long term basis (end date TBC).

This stunning school is is a perfect location for Leicester, Derby and Nottingham with fantastic links via the M1 corridor.

The inspiring sixth form provides and enriching and encouraging place for pupils to thrive.

Responsibilities include:

*To follow the school's curriculum and assessment methodology (which are largely based on the National Curriculum)
*To assess prospective pupil applications
*To attend staff meetings and parents' evenings as required out of school hours
*To contribute to 'house' and other whole school activities
*Occasional internal cover of absent staff

The ideal candidate for this Chemistry Teacher role will:
*be experienced and/or qualified to teach the subject successfully at Key Stage 3 to 5
*be empathetic to the students and contribute to the school's friendly, enthusiastic atmosphere.
*be familiar with the national curriculum and assessment methodology
*A sense of warmth and having a caring outlook.
*Any other skills or subject expertise may be helpful.
