INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITY IN ENGLAND FOR AUSTRALIAN BASED TEACHERS

Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside this OFSTED rated 'Outstanding' school in their search for their next A-level Chemistry Teacher from January 2020 on permanent appointment; although the school also welcome applications from those who would rather the flexibility of an initial one term contract.

About the role:
Full-time, permanent role, teaching in a high-achieving department under a very supportive Head of Science. (potential for supply contract also on offer if preferred)
You will be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 General Science with a timetable that is made up of 50% A-level Chemistry teaching.
Judged 'Outstanding' in their 2018 OFSTED.
90% pass rate at A Level, GCSE Science at 88% Grade 4+
A timetable consisting of 50% Key Stage 3 and 4 General Science and 50% AS/A2 Chemistry teaching.
Students have the opportunity in Science to either study the triple Science pathway (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) or combined Science (two GCSE qualifications).
Due to the size of the department the school is open to receiving applications from Newly Qualified and experienced teachers alike.

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
