Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for you next role teaching Chemistry in Tower Hamlets?

Tradewind are looking to appoint an engaging, nurturing, positive Teacher of Chemistry with the ability and experience to teach all levels. This will be a maternity role which will start in September 2020, with a minimum 1 year fixed contract. This is a successful 11-19 girls' school which serves the mixed community of East London who have approximately 1400 students aged between 11 and 19 years.

This client is an outstanding, high achieving, over- subscribed and successful girls' comprehensive school for pupils aged 11 to 18. It is a place where girls' talents and abilities are nurtured in a safe creative space and where they can develop their ambitions and the power for self-determination.

Tradewind are looking to recruit an experience Teacher of Chemistry who must have Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree with QTS. You will be expected to have proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum. You must strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills.

The role would be a full time maternity post, minimum of 1 year's contract starting in September 2020. As a Teacher of Chemistry, you will join a vibrant, friendly and well-resourced team. The successful applicant should be positive, dynamic and have a genuine engaging enthusiasm for the subject. Science is valued and well- supported at this academy. The progress 8 score in 2018 was 0.8. In Science students make progress significantly above national average. Approximately 33% of Year 13 students in 2018 progressed to Russell Group universities, many to pursue science related degrees.

This client is served by excellent transport links and centrally located in London this school is easily assessable to everyone. Parking is also available upon request
