Are you a reliable and dedicated Child Development teacher seeking work next term?

Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a successful and popular 11 to 19 secondary school in West Suffolk to assist them in finding a teacher of Child Development to join their hard-working team of staff. The successful teacher will be expected to teach KS4 students the OCR Level 1/2 Cambridge National examination specification. If you are able to offer a Design Technology discipline at KS3 this will also prove advantageous.

The position will be until the end of academic year at least, following a successful assignment this is likely to be extended or made permanent. The school has ample parking available for staff and is also accessible on public transport.

This Ofsted rated 'Good' school has consistently performed well over the years. Pupils behave well and continue to make excellent progress at all stage. They are polite, courteous and supportive of each other. The subject is growing in popularity and will support those interested in a career as a Teacher, Midwife, Nurse, Nanny, Youth/Social Worker or Educational Psychologist. The course will cover such topics and modules as Parenthood, Pregnancy and Labour, Diet and Health and Physical, Social and Intellectual Development.

The successful Child Development Teacher will be:
Familiar and confident with the planning and delivery of lessons in line with the National Curriculum
A sensitive, committed and reliable teacher dedicated to the role
Consistently motivated to deliver engaging lessons
An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills
A positive and personable role model for their class
