Tradewind is looking to recruit a Computer Science Teacher to teach Key stage 3 and 4 following the OCR syllabus. The core purpose of your teaching role will be to teach pupils analytical and critical thinking skills. The application of the fundamental principles and concepts of computer science including abstraction, decomposition, logic, algorithms, and data representation. The analysis of problems in computational terms through practical experience of solving such problems, including designing, writing and debugging programs. The application mathematical skills relevant to computer science. At Year 9 students will follow the OCR Entry Level Certificate in Computing (R353) as a way of preparing them for GCSE in Computing


The successful candidate will be a reflective and resilient classroom practitioner, ready to make best use of the fantastic dedicated training resources available through our nationally recognised network programmes.

This academy is based in Southwark and is walking distance from the nearest Tube station making this Academy accessible from almost any location within London. Zone 2
