The school able to consider and support applications from NQT's as well as those with experience. The school can offer either a permanent or temporary to permanent arrangement with the position being for the full 2020/2021 academic year at least.

The successful Computer Science teacher will join a passionate department which includes subject specific Technicians and Teaching and Learning Support Assistants. They can provide effective support for those in the early stages of their career and offer a range of progressive opportunities to enhance your career.

The successful Computer Science Teacher will be:
Able to confidently teach pupils up to GCSE level at least and ideally have a proven track record of successful exam results.
A committed practitioner who is passionate about their subject, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the Computing curriculum.
A personable character who is keen to form positive working relationships with staff and students.

To be successful in this Computer Science Teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.

The school is accessible by public transport and car, with plenty of onsite parking available for staff and students. Although in central Essex, the school also falls into the London Fringe pay scale.
