This excellent school occupies a spacious site on the southern edge of the City of St Albans. They are very proud of their school and have all worked very hard to achieve a "Good" OFSTED grading in March 2014. There ethos is simple, they want children to enjoy coming to school, to feel safe and make exceptional progress through outstanding teaching and nurturing. an oversubscribed school of 1150 students in KS3, KS4 and with a growing post 16 provision working within the Alban Learning Partners consortium including Loreto, STAGS, Townsend and Samuel Ryder. They are exceptionally proud of their post 16 provision which is inclusive and whose value added puts them very firmly in the top 25% of schools nationally.
As a Computer science teacher, you will be required to engage and encourage pupils throughout Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in a highly academic, ambitious learning environment.

-Teachers with experience of teaching computer science in the UK (ideally) but they will also consider applicants from overseas
-Capable and motivational teachers able to engage classrooms and meet high expectations for pupil progress and attainment

Based a vibrant and well-connected market town in south east Hertfordshire. Travel to London or Milton Keynes is fast via the Thameslink rail line. There is a good bus service to areas such as Luton, Hemel Hempstead and Hatfield as well as surrounding villages.

* An updated CV, covering the last 10 years of employment, with 2 recent references
