Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Computing teacher on a part time, long term contract.

Tradewind are working with an excellent educational establishment in Hull, who are looking for a teacher of GCSE and A Level computer science, on a part time, long term contract. We are looking for a teacher who can start as soon as possible, and you will be teaching 1 day per week until at least Christmas, with the possibility of this extending until the end of the academic year. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role will be expected in this position, and for this reason candidates will be paid in accordance to their position on the Main Teaching Pay Scale (pro-rata to the days that are worked).

You will be working in a truly excellent College, with a fantastic department, and a fantastic head of department. This subject is a relatively new subject in the setting, and for this reason they are looking for an extremely motivated individual, who is willing to help develop the curriculum and motivate students. Excellent subject knowledge is essential for this position, as the students are high achievers, and will be looking to be stretched and challenged. You will be working as part of a cohesive department who share good practice, so planning for this position will be minimal.

The role:
*Teaching A Level and GCSE Computer Science
*Planning and marking in line with the national curriculum
*Contributing to the development of the curriculum
*Working in line with the head of department to ensure high quality of teaching and learning

Essential requirements:
A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service, and collection of at least two verified references.
