This is a great time to be joining one of the most exciting and pioneering schools in the country. The school has a growing reputation for innovation and impact and from September we will have the full cohort of pupils from the age of 4 to 18. They are looking for an excellent Computer Science teacher who is passionate about their subject area and ready to develop their practice in a dynamic teaching environment. This is an all-through school and your role will include the teaching a range of computing and digital qualifications at Key Stage 4 and A-level Computer Science within our new sixth form, Six 21. Ideally, you will be an experienced A-level teacher with a background of teaching Computer Science and achieving exceptional results and progress.

The school believe the teaching of Computer Science should make regular and sustained connections to the world, with students applying the concepts and techniques they are learning to craft products that have an authentic purpose. The successful candidate will have an interest in preparing students for the technological industries of the future and will be excited about teaching a computing curriculum to children in both the secondary and sixth form phase. Experience of teaching a vocational ICT qualification is also desirable. Computer Science will be a popular subject within the sixth form, so we are looking for a confident teacher who can develop a distinctive and bold vision for the department going forward. Someone who is aware of the changes facing the subject area nationally and is able to implement new courses accordingly.
