Computer Science Teacher - MPS1 to UPS3 - St Albans - Good school - September start

Are you an enthusiastic computer science teacher? Passionate about the world of technology and eager to share your knowledge with others? We have an exciting opportunity for a Computer Science Teacher in St Albans!

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will have the chance to:

  • Teach and engage students in a variety of computer science concepts, including programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and cyber security.
  • Foster a creative and interactive learning environment, encouraging students to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Implement hands-on activities and projects to enhance practical skills and real-world application.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and incorporate them into your teaching methodologies.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team of educators and contribute to the continuous improvement of the computer science curriculum.


  • A background in teaching computer science or IT or Creative Media
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to students of various skill levels.
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring computer science is preferred, but we welcome passionate individuals who are eager to transition into the teaching profession.
  • A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
