The role
Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Computer Science Teacher, to join a smaller than average secondary academy, starting in September 2020. This role will be for one year, to cover a maternity leave. The role is suitable for a NQT, or experienced teacher, paying up to £170 a day.

The role itself will involve the delivery of Computer Science lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, so you will need to be confident teaching up to GCSE level. As part of the role, you will be expected to plan lessons and mark completed work. Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress!

To join us and be successful in this Computer Science Teacher role, you will need to:
*Hold QTS Status or QTLS
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV covering 10 years employment/education history and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

The school
We are recruiting on behalf of a small and well-established community school, which caters for students from 11 -16 years old. The school is a medium sized secondary and is extremely welcoming and friendly. The school displays a high level of expectation for students and staff. They pride themselves on an induction programme leading to excellent professional development opportunities and are fully committed to the progress of their staff, as well as their students.

The school is based in Tameside, with excellent public transport links and ample parking available.
