If so, Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding teacher of Computing for a very popular Christian Faith school in Surrey on the border of Sutton, South London.

*Computing teacher (KS3-5 / OCR)
*Starting on 02/09/2019
*Full time / Part time (Both options available)
*Temporary /Permanent (School will consider both options)
We are seeking to appoint a full or part time (3 days per week or more) teacher of Computing to join our client's successful and expanding Computing Department.

The post would suit an experienced teacher seeking a new challenge or an NQT who would benefit from a well established programme of induction year support.

The successful candidate will have the skills, expertise and passion to help develop the curriculum and enthuse students to achieve across KS3, 4 and 5.

The School…
Our client is a large mixed comprehensive school currently educating children aged from 11 to 18. With approximately 300 of their 1800 students in the sixth form.
They were last inspected by OFSTED IN 2017 and rated as 'Outstanding' in all areas.
The school is a great place to work. The community is vibrant, focused on teaching, learning and caring for students. The community of staff is very strong, supportive and welcoming.
Students like the school and like to learn - they are almost always keen and co-operative and value staff and the school. The school has something for everyone and huge opportunities for adults, as well as students, to learn and grow.

Pass rates at this academically focused and high achieving school are 100% at A-level so all candidates will be qualified to teach a level with the confidence and ability to do so at an outstanding level. Pay rates will be competitive but will vary depending on your experience and suitability for the role. TLR will also be available in some cases.

The ICT/ Computing department…

The department is a popular choice for students at both Key Stage 4 and 5, with numbers increasing in both courses. They currently offer GCSE Computing (OCR) and A level Computer Science (OCR).

The department provides numerous opportunities for pupils to stretch their understanding of the subjects away from lessons. And all members of the department are involved in providing additional support to pupils during lunchtimes and after school. This support covers a range of areas including Controlled Assessment, UCAS applications and specific gaps in subject knowledge. This support makes a significant difference to pupils chances of success.
