Are you a Constructor Tutor/Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge in a SEMH in Burnley?

Tradewind are currently looking for a hardworking, ambitious experienced Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant/Construction Tutor to join a thriving SEMH in Burnley starting in September 2019 on an ongoing basis. This is a full-time role and has the potential to turn permanent.

In this position you shall be predominately delivering Construction lessons to pupils across KS3 and KS4 by working with small groups of pupils to enhance their learning and academic development and you shall be supporting as a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant for the rest of the week. Your role will involve supporting and teaching pupils with behaviour difficulties or permanently excluded from mainstream school and pupils who cannot attend mainstream school due to medical reason experience is not essential however a patient and determined character is needed.

We are looking for:
A Tutor who has ideally, have experience both within the Construction industry ideally qualified to Level 3 and have experience in delivering either Plastering and Brickwork. They must have a recognised teaching qualification with a minimum of a PTLLS qualification. You must also have a passion for working with Secondary aged pupils and be dedicated to making a positive impact on their learning and development. Team Teach training is desirable. As per Department for Education (DfE) guidelines you will need to be able to provide full identification copies and reference details from the relevant experience you have previously gained in this or a similar setting.

The SEMH is based in Burnley and is easily accessible via public transport and has free parking on site.
